Barbara Rasmussen, Ph.D. is a certified historic preservationist
based in historic and scenic Morgantown, West Virginia. With more
than ten years experience in the field, she can assist public and private
entities in preparing grant applications for preservation activities. She
can also assist communities in preservation planning. She holds a Ph.D. in
American History, with a special interest and expertise in West Virginia and
Appalachian History. She teaches historic preservation and American
History at the university level. She meets the National Park Service
qualifications for historian, and architectural historian. Please
